Now that I am a new mom I am definitely trying to find the time do anything craft is a challenge. I have to plan to do thing around Bryar's nap and she is not the longest napper. As I sit here typing with one hand and feeding her with the other, I am hoping that as she gets older that this will change and I will be able to do some of the things I love, but for now I will have to sneak crafting in between all the other things that I try to do during her nap. How do you guys balance crafting and family?

Dollar Store Haul and Finding Craft Time
Hey everyone! I am back to share some stuff I got at the dollar store recently. My dollar store is kinda lame, so I was excited when I went and they actually had some cool stuff! I think I was most excited about the washi tape. Here is my video showing all the stuff I got in detail. I also showcased my card that I made for the Kraftin Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday "Anything Goes Challenge" that I mentioned and showed in the post before this one.

First Post- A Little Bit of Everything!
When I decided to start doing videos on YouTube again after I had my daughter, I also decided that I would to start an accompanying blog. I wanted to be able to share a little more than I can in a 5 or so minute video. I also wanted to share more than just my crafty stuff. Now that I am a mom, I would like to share some thing about that. Things that were helpful to me, mommy and baby favourites, and stuff about cloth diapering my daughter- which we are just starting to do.
As I explained in my latest video, I was away because of my rough pregnancy. I was sick everyday from about 6 weeks to 20 plus weeks. I was prescribed medicine, but it didn't help that much. It was easier just to be sick and get it over with. It didn't leave me feeling that great or with much energy. Also at 22 weeks I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. It was able to managed with diet and exercise at first but then it had to controlled with insulin. I am going to link the video below:

I am hoping to post here the same amount that I am aiming for my YouTube channel, about once a week. I may post a little more, because I would like to participate some crafty challenges on other blogs.
I am starting that off by entering a card I was able to create during naps (lol) into the "Wonderful Wednesday Challenge" hosted by one of my favourite stamp companies, Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. The theme was "Anything Goes"
I used my Kraftin Kimmie "Goldilocks" stamp set. She is stamped in Archival Ink. I coloured her with my watercolour pencils and my Distress Inks on watercolour paper. I used papers from an American Crafts 6x6 pad I had (Sorry it doesn't have a name on it). I then mounted it on some Bazzill Cardstock in a natural colour. I thought it needed something, so I added some doodling around the edges and the sentiment. I am please with how it turned out!
Please feel free to check out my YouTube channel :) Thanks for stopping by!
